We have been on the mississippi river pool 26 mostly around the mile marker 221 - 228 and no luck. Dough bait, night crawlers, shrimp and cut bait we have tried. Water to high for trout lines still. We have been mostly jug and some pole fishing in mornings and days. We went out last night to try some night fishing and no luck. We just have to keep on pluging away. | ||

Sorry fellas, haven't been on in a while.. Yea we've had some luck in that stretch. For all bank fishing we dI'd aweright. Biggest catch was a 52 lb. Blue. Had several 10 lb channels as well. This year we've only been able to fish the smaller streams comming off the channel due to the flooding. We've had great luck in a small river about 4 miles from the main channel. Nice channel cats biggest being 10 lb. |
