Hello everyone this is my first post here. My question is on rod size. I have a st.croix catfish pole in med. with a abu garcia 6500 c3 on it. I love this combo but want to try for some bigger flatheads. I looked at some ugly stiks at gander mt. in med/heavy and man they look really big. Is a med. action pole enough to get bigger flatheads in? Or should i buy a med/heavy pole? Thanks guys  | ||

I just got a 8' eagle claw water eagle. In med/heavy action and think its gonna be a dandy. And only gave 15 dollars for it at cat connection |
