Lots of patience lol. I caught a decent one yesterday morning from the bank, but I put in some time. Had the pole in the water before 5:00 am, and I was reeling it in around 8:00 am. Adjacent to the dock I fish from, there's a bridge. I just pitch it as far as I can under the bridge and enjoy the peace and quiet 'til the drag breaks it up. For bait I just "match the hatch". I actually caught mine yesterday on a live 3-1/2" sunfish on the bottom. Hope this helps some!
