hello i fish shelbyvill and get flats but no blues where is some good rivers or laks to get blues in central illinois

Jacob, i'm not sure how close you are to Powerton, IL but i heard they have the big blues. You may want to check it out

Hey, I was just out at Lake Springfield Friday morning and caught a decent-sized blue. Well, small for a blue, but still a nice-sized fish lol. It was my first blue cat, so I was pretty excited!

I was fishing on july 24 and caught a 39lb blue at lake springfield.
