I wanted to start this thread for people who want to know about california hog hunting or who can help share any knowledge about hunting pigs here on the west coast. |

Question? I am from northern california, but right now i am stationed at camp pendleton. The only place i have been able to find down here to hunt hogs is vandenberg airforce base, if anyone has anymore info on places to hunt within reasonable distance from pendleton. |

I know you can hunt them in San Luis National Forest it's near Los Banos. We hunt them out in San Luis Obispo we we go shooting out there. I know there's another spot somewhere near Bakersfield but I can't remember where. I'll have to look into that and get back to you.

I have heard of them opening up some area to hog hunting in the east bay area hills. That was last year, I dont know now. I have seen some huge ones on the Conneley Ranch, darn near as big as the cows! I think there are some ranches around here that will pay you to hunt them!

yea it kinda sucks, but i guess the big thing about it, is that hogs are now the number two big game animal in california, behind deer of course. Does anyone in here know if nebraska has hog hunting. I am about to get out of the marines and i am thinking about moving there? In Loving Memory Of Lance Corporal Aaron C. Austin. (We will never Forget)
