well i chased the big boy for 2 weeks. seen him twice but too far away. so i had to settle for his son.  gave me a 40yrd shot, and all i could see was his head. so it was in one eye and out the other. not what i would like for a shot but it worked.  we have a one buck a year law in indiana so im done for this year,as far as horns go. i hope his dad is still alive next year. indiana cat hunter | ||

Very nice kill. I put out my first mineral pit yesterday. Bow season here ends on tuesday. I think i might squeeze in a short hunt this afternoon if i can get a break from the rain.
