We have a lot of huge bucks where I live. At my friends shop we have 10 or 12 mounts on the wall, some larger some smaller than this one. I have tried to get Bryan to come kill one but I guess he is getting too old to drag it to the truck. I would also consider that a 13 pointer. The same friend shot a buck 3 weeks ago with a bow, a really nice buck. he watched it lay down and saw it coughing up blood, kept an eye on it for 5 hours. When he went back for it it was gone, no blood trail etc. My neighbor killed that buck this weekend and it had 5" of an arrow shaft through one lung. So evidently a deer can still live even if shot through 1 lung, tough buggers.

Danny, he saw the big boy and had to watch it for 45 minutes and hope it would come close enough for a shot. He said he had to ignore it and pretend like it wasn't there for fear of getting the shakes too bad or the deer sensing it was being watched. I too believe that if you stare at a deer too long it will get that feeling just like a person. I am sure you all have had the feeling you were being watched before.
