I went out yesterday afternoon and found a new tree to use my climbing stand on that i got a few weeks ago. I found a pretty good tree and cut out a shooting lane (lots of underbrush where i hunt) and after all was said and done i decided i would sit in my stand with the camcorder just to observe. I didnt really expect to see anything because i had gotten sweaty and i figured the deer would probably smell me, and i wasnt wearing any camo, just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. To add to all that, i got done late and didnt get in the stand until 3:30. I sat there until about 5 and i started hearing deer walking around. I finally turned around and there was a buck about 50 yards directly behind me. It circled around me and then left. About 15 minutes later a doe came walking up and walked within 20 yards of me and went straight to my feeder. The buck ended up coming back, but stopped right where i had walked to my tree stand and wouldnt go any farther. He sat there and watched the doe eat for about 20 minutes until it started getting dark and they both ended up leaving without ever knowing i was there. Im pretty sure the buck knew something was up because he would never cross my trail. At any rate, i got some neat video. I had to trim it down and its at a pretty low resolution and bit-rate to make it a small downloadable size for those that arent fortunate enough to have broadband connections. You'll need to right click on the link and save to view most likely. http://www.cox-internet.com/saxon/index. html (Message edited by verotik on October 31, 2004)

I guess the video loaded ok then. I've been having to do all kinds of converting to get IE to open it. Thanks.

Thats strange. Must be a codec problem. Everyone else seems to be able to open it.
