Does anyone go hog huntin down in south carolina, i live in beaufort, sc. I would like to try huntin hogs this year. If anyone has any info on where to go and how to hunt them please let me know, or if anyone needs a huntin partner of anykind let me know, I've been wanting to go for a long time now. Dunno if you know where Abbeville is or not? Its up north of you, near Augusta. I know my cousins go hunting every year & have alot of luck with it. They live in the Parson's Mountain area which has hogs, turkey & deer plentiful! I haven't ran a search to see if there are a hunt club in that area, I know there use to be one near Greenwood, that eveen let non-members join in on the hunts. you can get a feral hog population density map at the scdnr web page. apparently there's a lot of them downstate, and i've heard of a lot of them up here in the mountains too. only one i've killed i killed stand-hunting(280 lbs.+) But, i know a lot of people hunt them with hounds and pitbulls. it's 2 a.m., why ain't you boys out cattin?-goober | ||

We Hog Hunt Down in Fairview here. Kill 30 - 40 Hogs a Deer season because they eat up our Corn piles. we took a 600lb Boar this past year. | ||
