Guys I've got me one great big gripe about them record books. Now to my way of thinking book animals shouldn't count ifn the critter was taken at one of them big hunting preserves. SO CALLED OPEN HUNT OR NOT! Deer raised and feed a high protine diet filled with antler growth hormones shouldn't be classified the same way as the truely WILD animals most of us get to huntergo they should be classified seperately not as wild animals! Now I see nothing wrong with most of those ranches and had I been born rich instead of so dang good looking I'd have me a hunt scedualed somewhere year round BUT I AIN'T SO I CAN'T! Hell I can't even afford the license and tags to hunt my own state! Later, Poppie

I use to hunt the big bucks here in Illinois and have shot a few over the years. One thing that i learned the hard way was that when you do shoot that once in a lifetime buck kiss your hunting grounds goodby{unless you own the land).Because the rich guy that thinks he should of shot it instead of me/you just whent and leased the land all for himself. So now when i do shoot a book buck it just dount go in the book. And i also dount advetise it very much either. The only pictures taken of it will be by me and no other.

Beast, by now you should realize I'm bout half crazy but enjoying life anyway! Now if'n uall want's to really blow someones mind and happen to hunt public lands try running into a parking lot bout lunch time when everyone telling stories bout the one they missed @10yards and everyone's having a good laugh and a few cool ones! Now you got's to act all excited and outa breath like you just ran the mile in bout 3min flat, uall no whats I mean? Anyway when you get's their attention you ask Anybody here know the limit? I got me 3 deer and 2 game wardens laying up thar and don't want to get more'n I'm allowed then head back into the woods! Chances are your gonna hear some squeeling tires and some guys heading off in any direction but the way U went! It's a great way to get rid of the compitation!Later Poppie
