If you look close you can see his left rear tine is forked and his right brow tine also which makes him count an actual 10 points. He was shot at 60 yards with a knight 50 cal muzzleloader,85 grains of powder.I didnt get a permit last year because I sold some of my land so I took the gun out and gave it a good scrubbing, loaded it,and shot once to make sure it was still sighted in.Man I love those inlines, that makes the 9th deer killed with this gun in 9 shots,no misfires and no resetting the scope!! Same jar of powder I have had for 7 years lol.I would guess the weight of this deer at 250 field dressed.

Nice buck. Makes me almost embarrassed of the two North Carolina deer I've taken this year.

Way to go, Chuck!!! Looks like you'll have a good bit of venison for the freezer. My b/f got a small doe, a few weeks ago, has been twice since then, including today, but didn't get anything else and this was his last chance to hunt this season. But looks like I'll be getting my first hunting license next year, since he wants me to go with him...y'all wish me luck.
