I used to work on Quantico Marine Base in VA and the albinos are everywhere. They are really something to see.

Hey Chris it is funny that you bring up albino deer. Two sunday mornings ago there was one on my farm eating alfalfa out of my field . First one I ever saw in real life. I even woke my wife just to have a witness. It was about six in the morning.
I love to fish , but catfishing is my passion.

I never seen an albino deer before in till now. I'd hate to meet that during a foggy morning.
I'm just anther crazy catter along the shore waiting for that bite.

Albino deer are common in an inclosed impoundment such as Quantico or a NASA sight, Even some colored like goats, white and brown. Security requirements don't allow hunting, and inbreading is the result. In the wild, it's just an accident.

Down here in Okie land it's illegal to kill a "WHITE DEER"partly because some folks raise Fallow Deer and like anything penned up they sometimes escape. The second reason the're protected is because the wildlife commission ain't got the cahonies to tell the bureaucrates to take a flying leap at a rolling doughnut!
Any fool knows that albinism is an inherited genetic flaw that can spead throughout a herd. Fortunately, old Mother Nature is a whole lot smarter than the self proclaime experts and more often than not an albino isn't usually accepted by others of the same species (KIND OF LIKE REVERSE BIGOTRY). Although quite stunning in appearance albinos should be eliminate from a herd for the sake of the herd in much the same manner as bucks with genetic flaws in antler development.
The problem with albinos is their so dang purty that some folks that don't know any better take exception when someone kills one. This is what happened in OK. A few years ago a kid killed a nice buck that happened to be an albino. The paper put the kid and bucks picture in the paper and the ship hit the sand! The bureaucrates and wildlife commission were so overwhelmed with complaints from ignorant voters they caved in to the pressure and made them illegal to hunt!
Now old timers, like myself, know the real reason you don't go a killing no albinos is cause as surely as I'm writing this Ifin you kill an albino you ain't gonna even see a deer while hunting fer the nex 7 years and thats a fact Jack! Good hunting.... Later...Poppie!
The only failure is in never having Tried!
