Anyone been fishing on the north end of Kaw lake. Traders Bend, Hilltop, East of Kildare. How are the channels doing up there?
May God bless all your catfish adventures. |

Arlan wish I could help you with some info, but I haven't been out in so long I forgot what catfish look like. But from the looks of the other roads around here I'd say you might have a hard time getting to the ramp at Traders. And from the looks of the River at the Newkirk bridge there is ice out from the banks about 5 or 6 ft.You might be able to put in at Coon Creek an head north to Kildar, might try the old river channel streight east out from the old concret foundation on the bank.its fairly deep then comes up on the the flats there. Thanks for the update. My brother-in-law was to head that way this weekend. He may change his mind.

Hi Loop. Do you know if Kaw is thawed out enough to get a boat on yet? I'm thinking of giving it a try this wekend. |
