Josh, I know how ya love them Bass. LOL. I went fishing for a little while and ended up swimming cause it was HOT!!! LOL. This bass was caught and CPR for you. Cause I don't eat many bass. I caught bait using bait and didn't need $500.00 in lures. LMHO. I caught him using a bream head ( blue gill ) while cat fishing about 2pm in afternoon, off the bottom in bout 15ft of water. I caught a couple of other smaller bass on same head. Those bass don't put up as good a fight as cats. This one was almost 2lb's. Know luck with the cats and I also tried worms.. I had to leave an hour before sunset, which is the best time to fish. I Still had fun. The pic is me holding bass. I was by myself, no one to take pic for me. Then I'm releasing him and you see him swimming off. Poor little guy doesn't even know he will be flathead dinner later on in the night. Wish I could have used him for bait. LMHO. last pic is where I was fishing.

This old bottle may be dusty, but its what's inside that counts. "God Bless The American Soldier"

Great pics Dano, should of put him on the line whole for bait. That is if it is legal in your area.
Stinkbait is great, daughter makes it every day for me.

Dano I have seen bas caught on cutbait heads as well. A buddy caught a 9 pounder a few years ago on a trout head right before my eyes. Seen this happen twice.
Big bait + Big line = Big Catfish

LOL, wish i could use him as bait, but not in Texas. That flat will still have him for supper if he swims by him one night. LOL. Brian That was a first Bass for me on heads. Got a say it was fun. I guess you can catch just bout anything on most baits, if its hungry and your in the right spot at the right time. LOL My wife and I are going to get to the lake real soon and I'm trying a little bit of everything I can, too throw at them cats. LOL..

I caught a four pounder last year on a live bluegill. Thought it was catfish at first! Turned him loose and told him not to come back.

I caught a bass a couple weeks ago off of a live bluegill from a friends pond. It was a nice sized 4-5 pound fish, but it croaked because they arent as hardcore as catfish, lol. Catch-Photo-Release on all cats over 10 pounds. Take me down to the paradise city...

I caught a 3 to 4 lb smallmouth a couple of weeks ago on a live bluegill. Made some nice jumps. Thought about eating her but she had a few sores on the tail where the good meat is so I let her go.

Bass are a lot of fun to catch. I don't use weights at all, just a hook and nightcrawler. Let it dangle and float to the bottom, most of the time they hit it before it even touches the bottom. I think it is the natural falling of the worm? Good Luck Fishin! Ryjoe Radez
