Finding religion in catfishing! I was told by a buddy of mine that the bone in the head of a catfish looks like the cross of our lord. Supposedly,when you peel back the skin off the head of a catfish it reveals the boney part of the skull which is identical to the crucuifix. I was wondering if anyone has ever noticed,or heard about this before. I'm going to try to see with the next cat i catch.Worse comes to worse i'll get a fish fry out of it. Best case scenario i'll have an ivory cross to hang up and a fish fry! Soak the bone in bleach and they'll turn white like antlers. That would be pretty wild if this is true,will let ya'll know what happens after i try this. SHUT UP AND FISH | ||

Josepf, I forgot wher I seen it but some one might be able to direct you. But, someone posted About our lord in catfish bone's. But the pictures were of the whole skeleton. But it does look like the the cross with the body of christ on it. Pretty neat stuff. I hope you find it and if not I will keep my eyes open. That is so wild!! Them pics are pretty cool Joe! Never heard of a gaff fish b4,other than all the blues gaffed last night on a party boat out of Belmar.That was a fun trip,I won 50 bux in the pool on a 16 pound blue. I wanna get me one of them bones,I heard they were also in channels and yellow cats too.Gonna try to preserve them like antlers if they are. SHUT UP AND FISH | ||
